Spice 'n' Tadka began as a home food delivery service — a fresh, rotating weekly menu delivered straight to your door across the DMV, with no frozen food, ever. That daily meal delivery is still a core part of who we are.
Spice 'n' Tadka is run by Meenakshi and Maniesh Gupta, originally from New Delhi, India. Every dish is a labor of love — traditional recipes and hand-picked spices brought from their homeland, cooked to capture the same warmth and authenticity they grew up with.
Word of mouth from that daily delivery service grew into requests for weddings, corporate lunches, baby showers, graduations, and langar service at temples, gurudwaras and mosques.
Our vegetarian menu of 1,200+ dishes is our foundation. Non-vegetarian ★ (500+ dishes) is prepared in a fully separate kitchen, so our vegetarian kitchen stays strictly vegetarian — safe from cross-contamination for vegetarian and temple orders.
